Halloween is creeping closer, and whilst it's the season of spooks and frights, it's also the season of tail-wagging treats! Why not involve your dog in the spooktacular season with some DIY dog treats that are terrifyingly delicious?
It's important to note that these treats are frighteningly tasty and should not be fed in substitution for your dog's regular meals. Always feed them in moderation as part of their well-balanced diet.
Additionally, check all ingredients to ensure they're suitable for your dog's dietary needs, especially if your pup has any special dietary requirements.

Once frozen, re-coat 3/4 of each Fish Finger Skin in a layer of natural yoghurt.
Place 2 Dog & Puppy Training Treats on each Fish Finger Skin to create the ghost's eyes.
Freeze for another hour or until the natural yoghurt has set.
Now, let your dog enjoy this ghostly treat!
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 banana, mashed
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 1/2 tbsp water
2 1/2 cups oat flour
Preheat your oven to 180°C.
In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of chia seeds with 2 1/2 tbsp of water. Allow it to sit for 30 seconds or until it turns into a gel-like consistency.
Mix the pumpkin puree, mashed banana and chia seeds/water mixture together.
Gradually add the oat flour to the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
You can either roll the mixture into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray for approximately 30 minutes or until they firm up.
Alternatively, lightly sprinkle oat flour on a surface and roll out the dough. Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters to create spooky shapes. Bake these treats for around 20 minutes or until they're firm.
Let the treats cool completely before offering them to your dog.

Gradually add the oat flour to the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Give it one final mix until everything is well combined. Spoon the mixture into your cake tins or moulds, and your spooky treats are ready for baking!
